This site aims at WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is a target, not a certificate, and this page says what has actually been done and what has not.
What has been built and checked
- Contrast is measured
- Not estimated. The bronze accent used on the cream reading pages sits at 5.02:1 against its background; an earlier draft of the same color measured 4.26:1, failed AA for small text, and was corrected before it shipped. Text ratios on those pages run from 5.02:1 to 15.47:1.
- Keyboard first
- Every link, button, form field, and menu is reachable and operable from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring. A “Skip to content” link is the first stop on every page.
- Structure a screen reader can use
- One H1 per page, headings in order, landmarks on the navigation and the main region, labels on every form field, and alternative text on images that carry meaning.
- Motion you can turn off
- The site’s animation is decorative. If your system is set to reduce motion, it stops, and nothing becomes unreadable or unreachable as a result.
- Text that survives being made larger
- Type is set in relative units and the layout reflows to 200% zoom and to a 390-pixel screen without a horizontal scrollbar.
- Color is never the only signal
- Links are underlined, errors are described in words, and states are labelled.
What has not been done
No independent audit has been commissioned, and no automated checker has been treated as a substitute for one. The claims above come from our own testing.
Documents you may be sent as a client — engagement agreements, reports, filings — are produced as PDFs, and their tagging is not yet held to the same standard as these pages. If you need one in a different format, ask, and you will get it.
